Most Subscribers/Customers have been provided access to our Website and database through a company license agreement executed by their employer. The employer may require that one or more users have global rights to access any and all information of every user that has access through the company. If you have questions or concerns regarding the rights of other individuals in your company to access your User Information, Uploaded Information, or Usage Logs, you should raise those concerns with the appropriate person at your company.
Customer Information may be used for Boardroom Insiders’ legitimate business interests in connection with your use of our Website, including to respond to user inquiries and fulfill user requests, complete transactions, provide customer service, send administrative information, and to personalize user experience with the Services. We may use Customer Information to better understand our users in general and to improve the content and functionality of the Website. However, in the unlikely event there is a loss or corruption of Customer Information, Boardroom Insiders is not responsible or liable for such loss or corruption. We encourage our users to retain copies of all Uploaded Information on their own system.
Boardroom Insiders will use Payment Information solely for the purpose of fulfilling purchase requests. We will store Payment Information in an encrypted form and will not sell, share, or use it again without prior consent.
Boardroom Insiders, Inc. is in the business of providing in-depth research on executive-level decision makers who lead publicly-traded corporations as well as private and public sector enterprises.
Our database is accessed exclusively by our paid subscribers. Our customers are sales and marketing organizations as well as corporate recruiters who are looking to build business relationships with these executives. Our information is intended to be used exclusively for legitimate business purposes and is designed to improve business relationships and outcomes for both our customers and the executive leaders profiled within our database.
The types of data we collect on the executives contained in our database are the following:
Boardroom Insiders maintains a strict editorial process that governs the collection and publication of our executive profiles. All information contained with the profiles is collected and compiled by experienced, human researchers. There is no Internet scraping involved whatsoever. We collect our information only from reputable, long-established sources that are in the habit of quoting executives and companies directly as well as analyzing business trends and outcomes. These include quarterly corporate earnings call transcripts as well as published interviews with the subjects or their colleagues. All of our content is attributed to the sources we use, and we maintain a list of links to the online locations of our source material.
Our profiles are reviewed and updated regularly and information that is found to be inaccurate or irrelevant is removed and deleted. Boardroom Insiders endeavors to publish only accurate information about the executives we profile.
If Boardroom Insiders has included your business contact information in its database, such information may be disclosed to Boardroom Insiders’ clients and strategic partners who have entered into license agreements with Boardroom Insiders. Such agreements require any such licensee to use such information only for such licensee’s internal business purposes, including sales, marketing or recruiting, and not to disclose such information to third parties. Such agreements prohibit such licensees from using any of the information in violation of any applicable law, which include laws regarding unsolicited marketing.
If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Pursuant to the Privacy Shield Frameworks, EU individuals have the right to obtain our confirmation of whether we maintain personal information relating to you in the United States. Upon request, we will provide you with access to the personal information that we hold about you. You may also correct, amend, or delete the personal information we hold about you. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We will provide an individual opt-out choice, or opt-in for sensitive data, before we share your data with third parties other than our agents, or before we use it for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized. In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Boardroom Insiders commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to Privacy Shield. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Boardroom Insiders, Inc.’s compliance with the Privacy Shield.
Boardroom Insiders does not actively or routinely transfer data to third parties. Our customers, who are sales and marketing professionals working for business-to-business companies, may access and review the contents of our database. They may also choose to download and store pdfs of our executive profiles. A few customers use our API to pull our data into their CRM systems.
Boardroom Insiders employs reasonable security controls to protect all of the information subject to this Policy.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other similar events, any information in our possession may be transferred to our successor or assign.
This Policy was last updated on the date indicated above. Boardroom Insiders may make updates and changes to this policy by posting an updated policy on our Website.
Boardroom Insiders is committed to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information. Since the formation of our business, we have allowed any executive who is profiled in our database to request profile removal, with which we comply within two business days. We also extend the offer to any executive to review, edit and update their profiles.
